Historical reenactors give life to this epic journey of expansion, helping us to see through the eyes of common settlers, trappers and natives who roamed these once unmarked territories.

For almost two and a half years, these intrepid explorers trekked and paddled their way across the West, braving new vistas and encountering diverse native cultures. We’ll focus on the highlights of that journey (no paddling here) during our 45-day excursion through nine states, from Missouri to Oregon.
